About ES Decision Review

ES Decision Review is the home of Decision Review from Emergent Skills: an outside second opinion, or stress test, on one important business commitment.

The goal is a decision you can defend, without turning the review into another lengthy project.

Independent by design

  • No stake in the answerES does not prepare the business case or sell the proposed solution.
  • Agreed up frontWe agree on the scope, fee, and delivery timing before starting. Our fee does not depend on the recommendation.
  • Built on what you haveWe start with the evidence your team already has.

A new ES method under evaluation

Decision Review is a new, AI-assisted ES method still being evaluated. It has not yet been validated through client results. AI-assisted analysis organizes and challenges the existing evidence; ES reviews the resulting recommendation.

Every client Decision Brief requires review and release by Jim Wilde or a designated ES reviewer. The review does not certify specialist claims or guarantee a business outcome.

Who leads the review

Jim Wilde founded Emergent Skills and is responsible for the method and final ES review. His experience includes nine years as lead consultant on mta.info and the NYC subway countdown clocks, alongside decades in enterprise systems.
